Welcome back to another episode of #reallifewiththereynolds. I’ve been struggling with some health issues for what seems like the longest of time. After hearing so many healing stories from people who have tried the ketogenic diet, I finally decided to do some more research and try it out. The initial results were great: an increase in mental clarity and energy, and also some great results with my skin. But once I hit the 6 week mark, I broke out in a full on keto rash which I learned was a symptom of extreme detoxing. That my friends, was extremely uncomfortable. I was also unable to work out the way I wanted to because I just felt so much weaker than usual. So after 2 months of being on the keto diet, I decided to get off of the diet. All in all, I really did enjoy it but realized it wasn’t conducive to my fitness goals and the detoxing was also really harsh. Either way I wanted to share with you what a full day of eating looked like on keto. I know that it can seem really daunting but it became pretty simplified after learning some new recipes!
