I am making a 14 week commitment to lose 25 pounds even though I suffer from hypothyroidism using the keto diet and intermittent fasting.

Having done keto for the last six months, I am sure I am already in ketosis so this should be all that difficult. I am however making some adjustments to the keto diet I have been following based on some information I have gleaned from Thomas DeLauer about foods that break your fast.

Because I struggle with hypothyroidism I also have other metabolic issues. Insulin resistance for one thing. And metabolic syndrome. Though I do have low blood pressure, I don’t want to end up with heart disease or diabetes. It is one of my goals to totally correct (as much as is possible without a gall bladder) my thyroid problems.
