Keto Guide – Keto Plateaus.

Keto Guide – Keto Plateaus.

Hello my fat adapted family! Here’s MY guide to ketosis.

Today’s topic is keto plateaus.

I just want to clarify that these are MY opinions (and research!) as someone who has been in ketosis for quite a few years now. You may not agree with my guides and that’s okay. This may not be the guide for you. At the end of the day, it’s your keto journey/diet/lifestyle, I’m just putting my 2 cents in here to try and help some people with the information I promote.

UNFORTUNATELY this video cuts out before the end.
Luckily though – it’s right before my outro, I’ve tried salvaging the final minute or so of footage but this video wants to fight me every time.
I basically end it by saying that I would be devastated if I compared myself to others that have lost more weight than me.
Focus on yourself, not others.

2 weeks without a lot of weight loss is NOT a plateau.

What is P.I.S.S (post induction stall syndrome)?

Document what you’re eating.
Recalculate your macros as you lose weight.

Being hungry isn’t a bad thing!
Try intermittent fasting.
Are you eating foods you are sensitive to?
Cut out all sweeteners.
Do you have a medical issue that WILL slow down weight loss?
Are you expecting to lose it all in a week?
Sleep enough.
Keep electrolytes up.
If you’re close to your goal weight, it’s harder to lose it.
STOP weighing yourself.
