Keto Recipes: Sweet Asian Steak Bites, Crispy “Battered Shrimp & Quick Keto Spaghetti Dinner

Hey #KETOFAM !! Welcome to my channel, thanks for tuning in! My name is Amy and I specialize in making tasty, easy keto-friendly meals that the whole family will love! Here’s this episode’s recipes:

Sweet Asian Steak Bites

2lb sirloin, cut into 1″ cubes
2/3c soy sauce (you can also use tamari, liquid aminos or coconut aminos if you don’t do soy)
4 Tbsp golden monkfruit or Swerve brown (or your preferred keto sweetener, but the brown gives it a more authentic flavor
4 cloves chopped garlic
2 Tbsp coconut or avocado oil
sliced green onion or sesame seeds, for garnish, optional

Combine steak, soy sauce, sweetener and garlic in a ziplock back and marinate in the fridge at least 1-2 hours. Heat a skillet with 1 Tbsp of the oil over med-high heat, remove half the meat from the bag and add to pan. Cook for one minute and then flip and cook until desired doneness, about one more minute for a perfect med to med-rare pink center, more for well done. Transfer to a plate. Add second Tbsp of oil and then remaining steak, following the same cooking procedure. I served mine with stir-fried broccoli and bell pepper that I tossed around in a hot pan with some avocado oil, soy sauce, sprinkle of golden monkfruit and a little minced garlic so it would have the same flavor profile.

Keto Crispy “Battered” Shrimp

These were the best crispy shrimp I’ve ever had, keto or not!! All I did was dip some shrimp in some whisked egg, then in a combo of crushed pork rinds (I used both BBQ and hot sauce flavored), grated parmesan, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper. I lined them up on a parchment-lined baking sheet and baked them at 450 for about 10 minutes until golden and crispy. I made 2 different keto-friendly dipping sauces: one a keto cocktail sauce with G Hughes sugar-free ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, lemon, salt & pepper. The other was a creamy remoulade made from mayo, sour cream, lemon and Tobasco.
The shrimp were served alongside bacon wrapped/foil wrapped cabbage wedges seasoned with butter and Tajin chili lime seasoning and baked in the oven about an hour until tender.

Keto Spaghetti and Meat Sauce with Mushrooms

This was pretty easy and the video shows the steps I took to throw it together super quickly. I browned some grass-fed ground beef in a pan with the mushrooms, then added in Rao’s marinara sauce. I served it overtop Palmini linguini, a mild hearts of palm keto pasta replacement I order on Amazon. I drain, rinse and heat the Palmini according to the package directions.
